Recognising Signs and Symptoms of Substance Abuse: - Educating supervisors and managers on how to recognize signs and symptoms of substance abuse in the workplace, such as changes in behavior, performance issues, absenteeism, and physical symptoms. - Providing guidance on how to approach and communicate with employees suspected of substance abuse in a non-judgmental and supportive manner. 2. Implementing a Substance Abuse Policy: - Developing and implementing a clear and comprehensive substance abuse policy that outlines expectations, consequences, and support resources for employees struggling with substance abuse. - Training supervisors and managers on how to effectively enforce the policy while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity to individual circumstances. 3.
