Google Meets Etiquette
Welcome to Innovaxin Google Meets Online Etiquette Tips
The training environment will start 15 minutes before the scheduled time in chat. You can interact with your programme director via chat at this point in case of technical issues.
Some important points to consider for maximum benefit to all participants are the follow:
1-Be on time for the training.
We will start at the designated time. We will only wait 5 minutes if there is any participant missing.
2-Ensure you have a comfy setting and a cup of your favourite brew/drink. This is a casual environment.
3-We start with a quick ice-breaker and introduce ourselves (who we are, which company we come from and what is our purpose of attendance.)
4-Ideally you use some kind of headsets or earphones to reduce echoing noises, if you don’t have one, please mute your microphone.
5-If your internet connection is weak we suggest you mute your microphone and also your camera so you just watch and listen.
6- Do ask questions - you will have time after each slide or you can unmute your microphone and ask questions at any time. You can take as many notes as you fancy. Do cross reference them with the slide number at the bottom right of your screen.
7-To keep matters organised the Programme Director will give the right to talk to the person who asked the question. If you want to add an observation or make a comment let the person talking finish speaking and then ask to make your intervention.
8-If you get disconnected try to reconnect. The training will continue and he/she will get you up to speed later on.
9-If you want to keep evidence of the training for refunding at work please do take screenshots from your end but you are not authorised to record the whole session.
10-After the training is finished we will send you a personal copy of the presentation in pdf for your personal use only and a certificate of participation.
11-If you have any question, don’t hesitate to ask during the session or afterward or send an email to [email protected]
