GDPR/Data Protection Law for Managers/Directors Workshop
Programme is focused on the implications for small businesses (who have more than 5000 personal records of clients) on their books/databases and what they can do and don't do with such data to render a service, marketing and transfer of such data to third parties within the EU and outside.
This is a programme which is a must for directors and senior managers as the liability under the Maltese legal system falls on the directors.
We also cover new obligations arising from the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), which is a regulation by which the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the European Commission intend to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the European Union (EU). This will be effective as of May 2018.
