Recently I had the great opportunity to coach a team of new estate agents. They came from various walks of life and different age and gender and backgrounds.
One common trait, was that some of them were 'conditioned introverts'. They were made to feel that they are being watched and judged. How did they got out of the rut with this programme?
Like little kids who learn to swim, self belief that one can do it is critical. With training and self development and watching pros doing it you can master anything.
A great teacher is a teacher who makes you feel you can do it easily
2-Face the Music (you will love it)
Escapism, negative thinking or thinking how you will be judged are all toxic elements. Avoid them like the plague. You need to face the music and dance your way through. If you do not practise it you will never master it!
3-Manage your senses
On a tactical level the most embarrassing moment in a presentation can be the deep eye contact and getting emotional. The tactic here is to manage your eye to look at people's face but focusing right between their eyes. Deep eye contact can make you feel emotional and makes you lose the plot.
4-Perfect the Act
Like all other mastered professions practice makes perfectness. You need to practice, practice and practice as much as you can.
No one can believe in YOU unless you believe in YOURSELF
Stop worrying and Start Presenting is a four hour Workshop to teach you the skills of self confidence and professional presentations. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information
